Stormy Weather(1943)Directed by Andrew L. Stone. Cast: Stormy Weather is a delightful, star-studded all Black cast musical showcase strung together with a breezy romantic show biz script. Lena Horne sings the title song, Stormy Weather, which became her signature classic and Waller does a rendition of "Ain't Misbehavin" -- like only Fats can do. The storyline is a thinly veiled dramatization of the stormy life of extraordinary &$39;tap dancer and hoofer&$39; Bill -- Bojangles -- Robinson and features some of the all-time best legendary performers -- anywhere. 78 min. |
